Yoga Certification Board (YCB)

To further the promotion of Yoga abroad, Indian Missions will become Nodal points for certification of Yoga professionals in various countries of accreditation.

Missions would be conducting he Embassy would be conducting Yoga Certification Board (YCB  examinations under the following four categories :

Yoga Volunteer (YV) - Syllabus prescribed by YCB will be followed. No exam is required for certification for Yoga Volunteer. The candidate who has 80% attendance in the Yoga classes prescribed shall be eligible for certification.

Yoga Protocol Instructor (YPI)– Syllabus prescribed by YCB for YPI certification will be followed. The Embassy will conduct assessment as per YCB guidelines.

Yoga Wellness Instructor (YWI)– Syllabus prescribed by YCB for YWI certification will be followed. The Embassy will conduct assessment as per YCB guidelines.

Yoga Teacher & Evaluator (YTE)– Syllabus prescribed by YCB for YTE certification will be followed. The Embassy will conduct assessment as per YCB guidelines.
