Embassy had organized a 5 km Unity Run in Casa de Campo, Madrid on 30 October, in collaboration with IE University and IE Athletic Club. Around 80 people participated in the race which was flagged off by Ambassador Shri. Dinesh K Patnaik. All participants were awarded medals of participation and the winners,  Carlos Antelo and Josefina Schlieper, in the male and female category respectively, were awarded with trophies.
