A unique exhibition of 52 heritage musical instruments, sponsored by ICCR, titled “Tesoros Musicales de la India”, was inaugurated on 08 October at Casa de la India, Valladolid by Ana Redondo, Councillor for Culture and Tourism, City Council of Valladolid, Prof Antonio Largo, Rector, Valladolid University and Ambassador Sanjay Verma.
The Musicology Department of Valladolid University led by Prof Enrique Camara carried out the translation of the instruments description. They also developed QR coding for the exhibits in order to access a Youtube Channel to listen to the music of each of the instruments. The exhibition will be hosted until 18 November and will be free to the general public.
